LEMEG Project Delivery manages building projects from the first brief to completion. In the building industry, “project delivery” means getting a building project designed, procured, built and handed over.
Construction project management
A project manager is the client’s manager of the whole project: its scope, programme, budget, procurement and the professional team. LEMEG Project Delivery acts for the client, from inception to close-out.
- Defining the brief, the scope and the project budget with the client.
- Preparing and monitoring the programme.
- Appointing and coordinating the professional team and the contractor.
- Reporting to the client on progress, cost and risk.
- Managing the close-out and handover of the building.
Principal consultant
The principal consultant leads the professional team and is the main point of contact between the client and the consultants.
Principal agent
The principal agent is the employer’s representative under a building contract. The role includes administering the contract, issuing instructions and certificates and dealing with claims, as the contract provides.
Where LEMEG Architects is involved
LEMEG Project Delivery acts on projects where LEMEG Architects is not the architect. On projects where LEMEG Architects is appointed, the architect’s role is stated in that appointment.
